The role:

We are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic individual as an Ecologist to join our small and friendly team in Jersey.

Why Sangan Island Conservation?

Established in 2012, we are a local award-winning company and have been involved in a large range of projects over the years as well as undertaking our in-house research into local species ecology. We are always continuing to improve our own and our island’s ecological knowledge as well as helping to drive improvements in ecological principles on the island. Active projects range from development ecology, management of SSIs, working with the agriculture sector through LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) and research projects with Grey Long-eared bats.

As a company, we are committed to providing a friendly and inclusive work environment which supports our passion for wildlife and ecology. We work hard to ensure our staff can achieve a real work-life balance with flexible working, a calm rural workplace with free parking, lunch breakout space (with board games) and plenty of wildlife surrounding the office (yes we have a bat roost).
