Land Management
Delivered by qualified Ecologists and Zoologists with extensive experience across the United Kingdom and Jersey.
The majority of 'wild' habitats require ongoing management in order to maintain high levels of biodiversity. Without sufficient management, they will become low-quality habitats or be taken over by invasive species. We aim to provide our management service so those wild and neglected areas can be revitalised and enhanced for local wildlife.
Years of experience
Since the company was founded Sangan Island Conservation has been working on some of the Island’s most vulnerable habitats and Sites of Special Interest (SSI’s) working alongside both local Government Departments and Charitable organisations. Our longest running project has been overseeing and implementing the management of Grouville Marsh SSI which we have been doing since 2012. Our work included winning the ‘Natural Jersey’ Mike Stentiford award in 2018.
