Piers Sangan is an inspiring Ecologist and Educator. While the Bailiwick Bat Survey wrapped last year, hundreds of islanders joined in to help track our bat species.
Piers explains how trained bat handlers supported the survey and why their work matters. Our two directors both hold advanced survey licences for bat work in both Jersey and Guernsey which they use not just for commercial work but also as part of research projects and delivering training.
