Congratulations to Dr Amy Hall on her appointment to the Guernsey Nature Commission! πΏ

We’re incredibly proud to share that our very own Dr Amy Hall has been appointed as a Director of the newly formed Guernsey Nature Commission β and she’s in wonderful company!
Selected from nearly 50 applicants, the Commission’s distinguished board will be chaired by Martin Belcher of the Polygon Collective, and includes experts drawn from ecology, law, water management, finance, and communications. Amy joins as a senior ecological researcher, bringing her wealth of experience in bat and small mammal ecology, conservation law, and her deep knowledge of the Bailiwick’s natural environment.
The Commission was launched earlier this year to serve as a liaison between public, private, and third sector organisations working to enhance Guernsey’s natural environment. With over Β£500,000 committed over the coming years, it will focus on raising community awareness around biodiversity, climate change, health, and citizen science β all areas close to Amy’s heart.
We can’t think of anyone better placed to help shape the future of nature conservation in the Bailiwick. Congratulations, Amy β we’re so proud! π¦πΏ
